New faces at local schools

With the new school starting last week there are lots of new faces around local schools. Over the next few weeks the Chronicle will be publishing new kinder students and school leaders in the Dungog and Great Lakes shire areas.

Thirty three youngsters started kindergarten at Dungog Public School last Wednesday, back, Bethany Gallagher-Morris, Ava Neilson, Ruby Dew, Georgia Curry, Aimee Debbage, Rose Innes, Sophie Banister, Rubi Duck, Angus Hooke, Darcy Hill, Joshua Watkins, Eddy Crane, Kaylee Quinn; middle, Sophie Pritchard, Alayah Palmer, Talon Miller, Jayden Berry, Shakayla Johnson, Pippa Graham, Mitchell Simmonds, Dar

New kinder faces at St Joseph’s Primary School, back, Ava Budden, Archer Hopwood, Mack Davies, Annika Carmody; front, Wallace MacKay, Luc Bates and Jack Miller.

Leading St Joseph’s Primary School through 2012 are captains Jesse Farr and Rebecca Ford and vice captains Eliza Gallagher and Jessica Watson.

Stroud Public School has welcomed 18 kindergarten students in 2012. They are, back, Luke Montford, Henry Hancock, Hayden Bowden-Willis, Ryan Broadbent, Sam Lathwell, Lewis Ince; middle, Alyssa O'Sullivan, Ruby Daniel, Alannah Austin, Hailey Sturgess, Olivia Hutchins, Sharrina McIlroy; front, Jayden Dearle, Hugh Wilmen, Jackson Gorton, Connor Farley, Jarred McIlroy and Zac Ribbons.

Stroud Public School leaders for 2012 are minister Brodie Tull, deputy prime minister Tara Tolhurst, prime minister Cariss Bonney and minister Harriet Townsend.
