Major fundraiser for Dungog Sunshine Club

04 Aug, 2010 04:26 AM
The Sunshine Club of Dungog held their annual fundraising luncheon last Thursday.

May Walters, who has been a member for 61 years, said she still enjoys her involvement.

“This luncheon is our major fundraiser for the year and we also have two street stalls and two to three games morning,” Mrs Walters said.

“And each year we give away between $4000 and $5000 to local school, charities and organisations.”

Year 11 hospitality students from Dungog High School cater for the event which was attended by nearly 100 people.
