Locals spend up at Gloucester Bull Sale

The 52nd annual Gloucester All Breeds Bull sale was held on Wednesday and Thursday August 4 and 5 at Gloucester Saleyards with 126 bulls offered for sale.

On Wednesday, the Herefords and Poll Herefords went under the hammer with the top price of $8,000 paid for two Curracabark Herefords.

On Thursday Angus, Shorthorn, Santa Gertrudis, Charolais, Composite, Devon, Droughtmaster, Limousin, Simmental and Murray Grey bulls were sold.

The sale top of Thursday was $6000 for an Angus bull from the Pentire Angus Stud at Singleton.
