The Dungog Chronicle is again looking for a suitable photo to be published on the front cover of the upcoming local telephone book.
David Woolley’s photo looking over Dungog township east from the saleyards graces the cover of the current phone book and manager of the Chronicle Janelle O’Neill is looking for something that is “distinctly local”.
“The photo needs to capture the essence of the Dungog Shire and Stroud areas,” Janelle said.
“It needs to reflect what people see as the draw card to our area.
“As the phone book takes in the Dungog, Clarence Town, Paterson, Vacy, Gresford and Stroud areas – the photo needs to be taken within those towns or surrounding areas.
“Ideally it should be a landscape picture, preferably without people, but can include animals.
“I look forward to receiving your entries with the winner to grace the front cover of the local phone book for 12 months and acknowledged inside.”
The photos needs to be:
* High resolution (minimum 300 pixels)
* Vertical (not horizontal)
* Not too dark with perhaps some clear space top or bottom for writing.
Please email your favourite photos to mail.dungogchronicle@ruralpress.c om as an attached jpeg file or put on disk and drop into the Chronicle office.
Please include your contact details and where the photo has been taken.
Please do not process or crop the photo in any way – straight from the camera is best.
Entries close June 30, 2010.
